Hi I’m Alexis — the mad girl behind Mad Girl Bakes. I grew up in New Jersey where having an attitude and being a little angry is practically a birth right. I’ve been living in Florida for 8 years now, but the Jersey angst never left. It just learned how to bake.
I learned how to bake watching my mom and grandma, starting with an EZ-Bake Oven and Duncan Hines box mixes (still elite, still undefeated). These days, I work full-time in the restaurant world and genuinely love feeding people really good things. Mad Girl Bakes is powered by nostalgia, premium ingredients, and a slightly unhinged attention to detail–baked from scratch, made with love, and a little bit of rage.
